Beach week

Sunday June 17 - 24

The tradition the past 7 years has been for the Wieners clan to descend upon Pine Island on the Outer Banks of NC for beach week. The house was large and comfortable housing my parents, Tara and I with Gus in a walk-in closet, Kim, Ryan, Kailee, and Reese, and Jenny with ease. The weather, the ocean and the pool all warmed up as the week progressed leading to a wonderful time by all.

The big event though was Gus's first birthday on Friday, June 22nd. With a Star Wars theme that thrilled his father, he opened a generous number of gifts and tweaked out on his first cupcake.

So many pictures were taken of Gus in the pool, on the beach and playing in the house with his cousins, just not on my phone. I will revisit this post when I have aggregated those pictures from their various sources.
