This is Tara ... and I'm impatient! Right now I can barely reach around this rapidly growing belly to type. This week was a big one for Bill and me. We ended our tenure at Buckley, which was an all around emotionally charged whirlwind. We are so sad to leave, yet know that what is waiting for us is going to be amazing.
I had my 37 week sonogram on Thursday, and all looked "normal" according to the doctor attending at Lenox Hill - and I can tell you that I love that word - normal!
Then I had my now weekly checkup with Dr. Kwan on Friday and all again was said to be progressing normally. Only after the checkup and even today (Saturday) there have been some indicators that things are progressing toward our big delivery day. These "signs" caused some alarm with me, but Bill settled me down and has kept me calm (thank you to my husband!!).
I keep bustling about the house in what Bill playfully loves to call nesting, which I think it must be. I just need to keep myself busy and my mind off wanting our son to come so very much. Mom comes on Wednesday, and that is great - she will help me bustle about and we will give Bill the few days of rest that he wishes for before we both have a new focus and our times of leisure and having "nothing to do" COMPLETELY end!
Waiting is not my forte... :)
